I just got round to sorting out the Schmelke jpegs for my Creation UK photo ops from May! It's not as dilatory as it sounds - well, yeah, it is actually. I had the email to request the jpegs keyed up for ages then forgot about it, so I only sent it off in July. Anyhow, Chris sent them and included his crops and the originals - so I'm posting my own crops and edits now, because Chris wanted to show off his imperial purple background, but I wanted to be able to see what was going on! LOL

Mind you, I still can't work out what Jared was doing with his legs in this Velma dip one, and I still HATE my face - but look at his pretty little kissyness!( Read more... )

Leaving to catch our flight home in a bit, but I thought I'd post this as when I arrive home I'll be busy uploading vids and photos that I haven't been able to do here because the hotel wifi is woefully inadequate.

I'll post some con reports anon - I have Jared stories of happiness, Jensen hotness, Misha smiles and lots of fangirl fun to recount that will probably bore y'all to tears before I'm done. Bwhahahah!

I've just deleted some emails from my inbox cutting it down from 747 to 4.

I had a look at wat was there and decided it was stupid to think I was ever going to catch up with even half of the stuff I've been hanging onto for the last six months - so wiping the slate clean seemed like a sensible move! Especially since I'm off to Birmingham tomorrow for the start of three weeks of convention madness, and KNOW I won't be able to keep track of new posts and stuff, let alone read all the previous posts.

So big apologies to anyone whose fics or posts I haven't yet responded to - I will endeavour to catch up with everyone when I get back.

I hope to post bits and pieces while I'm away because meeting up with all my fangirls (and the odd boy) is too good not to share.

So ages ago I entered that competition to paint a giant pig and yesterday I got a call to say they had a sponsor for my Swinions design! So yay! The only drawback? It has to be painted by 30th May, and I'm now away from tomorrow until 27th so I'll have a massive three days to get it done when I get back from Italy. Just as well it wasn't a complicated design and there are only a few colours involved! LOL!

I'm all packed for A16, bag full of god knows what, decisions semi-firm about what to do for photo ops, a list as long as my arm of extras I have to try and get for friends who won't arrive until late on Friday and the knowledge that there will be something I've forgotten. But soon I'll be hanging out with so many flisties its utterly awesome. Can't wait!

I stayed up last night to watch this and what a strange mixed experience this was! Only about two proper questions from the audience, many shenanigans from the boys on stage, Aisha confirms all the fanfics that portray Jared as a very happy, huggy drunk and there is a long discussion about Jared's taint and his mole that looks like Sam Winchester...

And then Jared chokes up talking about his low self worth, which just breaks everyone's heart.
It was worth staying awake for, but compared to last year's Nerd panel, this one felt a bit flat somehow. Maybe because Jensen seemed a bit quiet. Maybe he was hung over! I hope Misha's family crisis that sent him home was all sorted out, anyhow.

Ok after watching again this morning, I take it back - it was so much better seeing it without the time laggings and freezing and missed bits...a lot more fun!

It was a bit of a bugger - me and my friend were super lucky to get right down to the front, but we were off to one side and then Jensen stood in the centre most of the time so I had a job to catch him in the picture. Still. He sang beautifully and wore a sweaty t shirt and looked effing gorgeous so... I'm content. And they sang Seven Bridges! Woot! I told Richard they had to do it when we were talking about him joining Rob and Jason for the concert, and at the time he said they couldn't be able to do it without the rest of Louden Swain. So way to prove yourself wrong, Richard! :D

More vids to come, now I finally have a decent internet connection and evenings free. It's a double relief - nice apartment with aircon to escape from the heat (30ºC, Roma, it's supposed to be spring, not August!), and wifi that works! Huzzah! So I probably will never catch up on everything that's been happening over the last two weeks (apologies for that and feel free to draw my attention to important stuff you've been up to in the comments), but I will be checking and replying to any comments you've made as soon as I can.
