A16 Photo ops

Thought I might as well do my usual and share my photo op piccies with y'all.
Gil was a darling, but I don't think he was enjoying this as much as I was LOL

Adrianne was wearing heels so I was doomed. I told them I'd be hobbit-in-the-middle and they obliged by using me as an arm-rest. I saw a few people doing Sam/Jess poses - so cute. Earlier on Saturday the guests were wandering through the hotel in a little convoy, waving at folk as they passed, and Tahmoh was holding Adrianne's hand - so sweet and protective. Not that she needs protecting, she's an awesome martial arts practitioner in her own right!

I wanted to see what Richard would look like with my glasses on - pretty darned handsome, that's what! They really suit him, don't they? He couldn't see a thing with them on though ha ha!

These are all photos of the photos taken in artificial light by the way, that's why they look a bit off.
A photo op of a different kind of celebrity now, the Flistie kind! Here we have me with xlittleangx, theymp and the lovely, very excited J2 newbie, Lily. Don't be decieved by Lily's height, she's only thirteen. She was happy to fight her Dad for the Jensen squeeze though so theymp had to 'make do' with Jared in their J2 op.

That didn't curb her excitement at wielding Thor's hammer after Jared waved it on stage and later in my photo op!

And here's Jared with it. It was rather funny, in his panel on Saturday, someone asked Jared why Sam never kept Thor's hammer in the show (good bloody question!), and where it was now, so I scrambled round in my bag and presented it to him on stage - he was impressed! Then when I brought it out again in my photo op he was well into getting his pose right. And the best bit was when I was walking away he rubbed my back and congratulated me on producing it at the right moment earlier! LOL

i don't know if he noticed it is an #AKF hammer too, but maybe I'll take the photo to Rome to show him when I get my rock poster signed. I hope someone got some photos of him with it on stage as I had to put my camera down in order to give it to him, so missed capturing the moment myself! :D

The only other photo op I have was a shared one with the wonderful jj1564. May I present to you the Winchester Campbell Motorcycle stunt team performing a delicate balancing act on JJ's wheelchair. Sorry it's such a poor pic. but the photo of the photo didn't come out too well LOL.

The rest of my photo ops were distributed amongst my friends as I have plenty of photos and no idea where to put them all. But this was the awesomest of those - for Ang's birthday. Ty led the room in singing Happy Birthday to her too. Hee!

We had such a great weekend, so full of laughs, I know I'm not going to remember the queuing cockups or wilting in the heat or thinking someone stole my phone from the bag table in the photo op room when in fact I'd stuck it in my back pocket. Perhaps I should have asking someone to ring it for me before tipping my bag out, panicking and reporting it missing to the comms team in the Hall. *Sigh and LOL* What am I like?

I *adore* your photo ops, they're always either funny as hell or fabulously squidgy! Gil's up the top...MAN I CAN SEE THE HAPPY ;) I was both proud and amused to be a part of Ange's birthday pic and the last two images *MELTS*

We missed you too Kat! It was partial chaos, having Platinum upgrades definitely helped a lot. But you know Rogue - they can never keep things the same from day to day and confusion reigned at times. Especially for the poor new staff. Old hands were taking it all in their stride. The trouble is it is just too large an event and that intimacy you get when there's 1000-1500 attendees is lost when it goes up to 2500.

It is a lovely hand... I didn't know he'd done that until I saw the photo. :D We had to have two takes for some reason but I never saw the other pic to know why it had to be taken again.

Awesome pics!! I'm so glad you had a great time! I briefly saw Thor's hammer mentioned on Twitter and I wondered if it was yours. :D Your flickr is an absolute treasure trove of pics!!! Last year I took it but in our photo op I wouldn't let him wield it because I had that female Thor in mind - but his little face fell when I snatched it back off him so I thought I just had to give him another chance. Of course he ended up with two goes because of having it on stage too. LOL

I always take my glasses off for photo ops to avoid glare, but while i'm not blind without them, it really messes with my head and I *feel* like I can't see anything properly. (my point is, I sympathize with your comment :) )

I so adore seeing your photo-ops, the one with Jared and Adrianne is the BEST and I love Richard's face (and yours;). Heh about your comment to the Gil picture; you do look like you're never gonna let him go :-D
