Summary: Once upon a time, Jared Padalecki was a young, happy, open man who, despite a horrifying childhood incident and many family issues, still enjoyed his life. That was until a random trip to Monte Carlo introduced him to the best and the worst of life.

Five years later, after watching someone he loved sacrifice himself to keep him safe, he was a private man who kept to himself in his home in the hills of Monterey.

When rumors surface that the man who had cost Jared so much might be alive and closing in, he hatches a plan to learn the truth, unaware that someone else is also watching over him.

The prompt art

The art is a mix of traditional pencil drawing and then digital colouring. I had thought to re-draw it all, because there were inaccuracies that were (are still!) bugging me, but alas, I was too disorganised and the deadline crept up on me.
