Sorry about the post spamming! Here's my spn_gen_bigbang art post for agelade's latest episode in her alternate Season 9 in lustraverse. Fic Masterpost can be found HERE, go read!
It's a cool project I hadn't been aware of before picking her summary in the spngenbb, and I fully intend to catch up on the story so far!
In the meantime, this is Episode 7 (I think), and it can be read as a stand-alone.

Fic summary: Pre-series AU. Dean's sleeping off a hunt when he gets a call from a kid claiming to be his half brother. The weirdest part? It's true. He's already had one brother leave him, and Dean doesn't want to chance another rejection from his own blood, but for some reason, he can't simply forget Adam Milligan exists, even if he knows it would probably be safer for both of them.

Summary: Set in 2005. After finishing the voodoo job in New Orleans, Dean’s supposed to contact John to get new instructions for his next hunt, but instead decides to detour to Stanford to check up on Sam.  On arriving in Palo Alto, Dean stumbles on a case. Unluckily, he is cursed by the witch when he ganks her and is turned into a dog.
Being adopted by Sam and Jess seems like a stroke of good fortune, but as all hunters know, there is no such thing as blind luck.

Equally I need to thank my two awesome betas - adrenalineshots and reapertownusa .  Ladies, you are stars.  You helped me get this tale into shape, and any errors, cockups etc are now all my responsibility (dammit!).  Like my total failure to find out why this effing text won't all show in the same font and the same size like the HTML seems to be saying it should.  Gah!!!
Finally, a humungous thank you to reapertownusa for putting this Big Bang together.  Folk who administer/mod these communities and set up the fun challenges like this one are all heroes in my view.  You will be rewarded in your version of Heaven, babe (though we have to hope the Winchesters will have had time to tidy things up there before we have to sample its delights!).

So this year I signed up for art and fic - and this was the mini-bang fic I managed to bag!  It was an interesting and different challenge, being a period piece set in England.  And I suppose with Kate having gone into labour today, having a Royal themed art and fic posted couldn't be better timed! LOL

He's delighted when Sam and Dean discover that they can't go home right away, and Sam and Dean decide having a ringside seat to history won't be all bad. But what will John say when he finds out that Dean's been hired as Bertie's governor? And will any of the Winchesters remember what they need to know to avoid getting caught in one of the greatest naval disasters of all time? (Teenchesters, fusion of sorts with The King's Speech.
