Staying at my parents is not exactly relaxing. Although Mum is being ridiculously self sufficient for a nearly eighty year old with a nasty broken arm with a scar about 6 inches long (see below for it's full glory), she still struggles with some things, and won’t ask for help. Then when she does ask for help, she joins in, which defeats the object really. For instance, today the neighbour on the right hand side hopped over the fence to set up her bean poles and prop up her lovely tree with the red leaves that blew over in the storms a few months back, and had fallen down again. Did she leave him to get on with it? Nope, she was down the bottom of the garden, weeding and giving him directions.

So the next day in Rome dawned and we were blessed with Jensen and more Jensen, photo ops that went wrong because I can't find words when staring into the sun, and lots and lots of face achingly funny panels.  My friend Monica from Australia had managed to find Jensen's resume to match Misha's from last year, and was all prepared for Misha to get some revenge.  What happened instead was dancing, which was entirely unexpected and totally gobsmackingly awesome.
Jensen's solo panel - and he looked scorching hot in that pseudo denim shirt.  Beats plaid any day!( beware the massive picspamming below the cut! )

I should probably have kept some proper notes and tried to post at the time but...too late now.

As everyone now knows, Jared didn't show, or rather had to rush home - and unbelievably there were so called fans we overheard complaining about that fact.  What they actually said was "oh I don't see why Jared had to go, it was only someone in Gen's family."  Sometimes, fandom, you are a bunch of total insensitive, entitled, immature wankers.  Way to start this on a low note.  But hey, it got better.  And better.
