amberdreamsI didn't have time last time to write up my fan encounters, so as I've inconveniently awoken at 5am, I thought I'd catch up a little now before the madness that is J2 Saturday!
I arrived safely on my delayed high speed train from Bologna and caught the Leonardo Express from the city to the airport and bumped into two girls from Milan who were looking for the Hilton. So I showed them the route, my first good deed for Con Newbies. Then in the queue for hotel registration, the lovely
viviansface found me and we somehow survived me thinking she was Mirella (a fangirl who wanted to take photos of me and my JIB Rock poster for her BA thesis about creative fanworks), though my confusion lasted until the actual Mirella pounced on me a bit later. Within the space of a couple of hours in the lobby and walking to and fro the airport to get food, I bumped into/waved at/hugged katwoman76, sillie82, bflyw, frozen_delight, and 
herminekurotowa, plus my con buddies Elena, Elisa, dizzojay, Wendy, Ally, Sue, Krista, my roomie Angela and I've lost count of how many more now, in this mad social whirl. For someone who basically lives like a hermit most of the time, this is both wonderful and terrifying and exhaustingly fun.
I've had people in queues recognise me as amberdreams and say thanks for my con photos and for our FB group Supernatural Seriously Awesome (includingjustmep2 - thanks me dear!!! It was lovely to see you again!). It has felt like one massive happy reunion - and this is only really Day One. I have photos from the cocktail party last night but this internet connection is painfully slow and I'm having to load pics in small batches. Overnight NONE of my vids finished loading onto Youtube... Argh.
Anyhow, I need to go get showered and prettified because today I have two Jensen photos, two Jared photos, the J2M trio AND a Rob'n'Rich duo!!! Meep! Actualy double and triple meep because I have no idea what to do in my Jared ops. What was I thinking??? Oh and in between the photos I have meet'n'greets with Jensen, Jared and other guests...plus panels. Yeah.
