Help! I have a c 10k fic nearly finished that needs betaing before Monday because I'm a slow coach writer and am down to the wire on this one. It's for spn_cinema and features a Sam and Jensen pairing with one fairly mild sex scene between them. The story is set during Mystery Spot at a point where Dean is currently dead.

Any takers? I can send the draft to you in the next 2-3 hours and will love you forever if you can get it back to me in the next 24-36 hours so I can edit and post it while it's still Monday in the UK.

Has anyone got time to beta my pinch hit spn_j2_xmas fic? It's c7k of Jensen/Jared fantasy AU fluff and nonsense with some sex.

Summary: In which Jared is lonely & depressed, weighed down with guilt and in a dead end job, and Jensen is a mystery to be solved.

Summary: Set some years from now – both the Darkness and Lucifer are no longer an issue. Dean and Sam investigate the mysterious disappearance of a man from a locked room in New Jersey. Jody calls them in because the case is over the border from her jurisdiction, plus she’s busy trying to get elected Sheriff in her new patch in Pennsylvania. However things get complicated when Claire independently investigates the case. The Winchesters find a painting of Claire in a panel in the room, but no sign of the girl herself. Their investigation comes to an abrupt halt when the room itself vanishes from the missing man’s house, leaving the boys frustrated and Jody frantic. Several months later, Sam finds a report of a missing child in similar circumstances right on their doorstep in Lebanon. So obviously they reopen the investigation in the hopes of finding Claire.

It's Supernatural, Gen, based (quite loosely) on the film Warrior. There is talk about brain injuries, and some fairly graphic brutal fight scenes (or at least I kind of hope they are!) so if that bothers you, you won't want to do this one.

So dreams...How come other people have sexy-times with Jared and Jensen in their dreams and I have - embarrassment? T'ain't fair, y'all!

So my dream went like this.

We were lucky enough to bump into Jared somewhere, in a social situation. So we were sitting in this pub or similar, around a table, chatting to him. Except

dizzojay was behaving oddly, and started talking in stalkerish terms with this strange glazed expression, leaning forward and stroking his cheek and hair. He was getting very uncomfortable, trying to turn his back on her, shifting in his chair, but she persisted. It was like one of those slow motion disaster movie sequences, because not only could we see this happening and were cringing inwardly, but of course I had to make it worse!! LOL

For some obscure reason, I had something Jared had written – a book or something dream-logical that didn’t make sense because it was written in sand (shades of GISHWHES perhaps) – and I leaned across waving this thing in his face and asking him loudly why he’d said about being naked i here, and not that we wanted him to be naked, you know, but he did have a fabulous body and…

Oh the embarrassment! Then the dream morphed into something else and that was it.

So not only did I embarrass myself I never got to see Jared naked either!

Hi y'all! Anyone got time to beta my summergen pinch hit #1? It's not very long (about 3k). Nothing controversial in this one, and obviously, it's gen! :D

I've done something I'm not at all sure about and I'd love someone to give it a look over... I'm wondering if it could/should be expanded, whether the premise works at all, is it too pretentious? Oh and does it kind of meet the prompts I've been given?

Anyone up for beta'ing 4 thousand words of Purgatory fic? It's kind of gen, kind of implied slashy for Sam/Dean and Benny/Dean though nothing is described.

I'm not around until this evening so won't be responding until I get back from the ice hockey, and the deadline is pretty loose too - I just need to post in April.
Apart from SPAG, I'd just like to know if the missing scenes are ok to stay missing, if the pacing's ok, if it generally makes sense and is an entertaining read - my usual doubts need assuaging! LOL

I've possibly finished my spnspiration ficlet for the April Fool's Challenge, and could do with a beta read (and a second opinion on whether to end it where I have done or not!).

I've nearly finished my SammyBB - it's a minibang; it's about 6400 words at the moment. Apart from a thorough beta'ing, I really need some advice about the ending. At the moment I am not sure it really has one...but what is there might be ok, I just can't tell any more.

The summary goes like this: Set at an unspecified time during Season 10. After an argument Sam stalks off and eventually Dean goes searching for him. Unable to find Sam, Dean returns to their motel room to find Sam is trapped inside an invisible cage in the middle of their room. Dean can see into the cage, but Sam can’t see out. Between them they have to find a way to free Sam from this prison.

Presently there is no wincest, though it could be implied.

Leaving Kevin alone in the Bunker with only Crowley for company was probably not the Winchester’s brightest idea. Compound the prophet’s paranoia with drug abuse and demonic stirring, add an unexpectedly early return to the Bat Cave after a chimera hunt gone a little bit awry and you've got yourself the recipe for a perfect Winchester storm.

You have crazed Kev, snarky Crowley, hurt!Dean and hurt!Sam - so if that floats your beta boat, let me know! Posting doesn't begin until 2nd October so there is plenty of time.

I've got a 11.5k draft for my

spn_cinema that needs a damn good beta'ing.

It's a World War I J2 AU, based on the quirky French English and German film King of Hearts. I'd rate it an R at the most because there is mention of boy sex but no graphic description of the act. This is a love story and pretty innocent really. The war is in the background of the story most of the time; there are deaths but not of the main characters.
Does anyone fancy giving it a go?

Dean meets up with twelve year old Sam in a wood, where he finds himself in the middle of a hunt gone wrong. But everything is not as it seems…

In summary: Set in Season 3 sometime between Sin City and Bedtime stories. Sam and Dean take a case on a cruise ship which is hosting a convention of drag queens. They have to go under cover as queens themselves (naturally). There are monsters of the week, a fuck or die situation plus one short scene of non con (which involves a snake - yeah don't ask).
Re: the beta'ing - I wrote this in pieces and not in order so it may not totally hold together, plus - sexin'...I'd appreciate some help/advice with those bits!
My posting date is 29th October so I have a while yet to beat this into shape.
