I wasn't sure I could edit the first pic well enough so I started afresh. I think this one is a little more successful. I did have two other goes actually, but the second one went
really badly awry in terms of a likeness so that's definitely NOT going anywhere! So this is the one I think I'll get signed.
It's not the final version, I've made his head a bit wider at the back in the shadows, and darkened the background round his face to make it stand out a bit more. I thought I'd try using some pre-printed craft card so I had a ready made background. This is approx 30cm square.
I think it's worked reasonably well. It was quite hard to see what I was doing to start with, but once I got some the layers of pastels down it got easier. It's still a bit long in the face for Wash but I'm not too ashamed of it! LOL
