Blood will Flow

I'm visiting my mum at the moment to celebrate her 84th birthday, and today we had a day out in Hereford. We picked the right day - after a cloudy, misty start the sun came out and so the various stained glass windows in the cathedral were shown off to their advantage. Plus in the afternoon, a choir and orchestra were rehearsing for their evening concert, so we were treated to some totally appropriate music while looking round.

I was looking round our very damp cellar, after bagging up the Christmas tree and deciding it was probably ok to store it down there as long as it was off the ground, and I found some cardboard boxes full of stuff. The cardboard was looking worse for wear, some of it was covered in white mould and I thought the contents were going to be beyond saving, but the first box I investigated had some pads of nice coloured art paper, and though the ring bindings were a bit rusty, the paper itself looked possibly salvageable.
