2013 has been a good year, I think.  At least the parts I'm going to remember are the good ones because I have a terrible memory and refuse to remember anything naff. It's a waste of what little brain power I have left! LOL

Next year I already have a lot to look forward to.

I'm already booked up for 4 SPN conventions (this in spite of saying I was going to wind down my convention attendance - huh, that didn't work so well, huh?).  So May will be Asylum in Birmingham (Amanda Tapping!), Jus in Bello in Rome (J2! My fave city!), Asylum again together with a new con in my old stamping grounds of Liverpool in October (Alaina Huffman!).

In addition to the conventions, there's the Winter Olympics (yay ice hockey!!), the Shrewsbury Folk Festival in August, Oysterband in March, the free music festival in the park in June/July, and who knows what other delights await us?

So may you all keep your pencils sharp, the words and the creative juices flowing, do a lot of what you fancy, and above all be happy.

Well not quite yet here, but I am so full of cold I'm going to bed 2 hours early!  So here's to an awesome 2012, containing all the best bits from 2011 (and there have been some fantabulous best bits, like Rome, and A6 and meeting lots of new people and reading lots of wonderful fics, and making some fun pictures and seeing lots of talented artworks), and at the same time dumping all the crap from this year into the gigantic sewage farm where it belongs.  Like all the horrible natural and human-made disasters - please no more tornados, hurricanes, tsunamis, nuclear leaks, riots, wars, famines.

Let's see some more revolutions, people power, tolerance written into laws so people who love each other can show their love like everyone should be able to.  In fact, more LOVE generally would be a Good Thing.  Light up the rainbow round the world.  Oh and fluffy kittens. And no more colds and viruses thank you very much. :D
