Note to self - never, ever try taking one of these animal sculpture thingies upstairs, ever again.

Me and Paul managed to get Hareport down from the bedroom without knocking the light off the wall, or gouging chunks out of walls, bannisters or our legs, and without damaging his paintwork (apart from a bit of blue rubbed off the tip of an ear) - but man, I'm fecking knackered! My back's killing me. I told Paul I should go on the downside with the hare's legs but he insisted on being the man and take what he thought was the more risky bit (going downstairs backwards), which meant I got the hare's bum. Which was large. And heavy, and bloody difficult to hang onto with small hands and short arms.

Anyhow, I did manage not to drop the hare on Paul's head, so I'll count that as a win. The furniture is all moved around, the upset spiders have been relocated and the dust hoovered up. The hare's now sitting on a wooden box in our living room so I can hopefully now get to his stomach to paint the damn ducks on the river, and Paul is happy because I've managed to arrange the room so he can still see the telly, so he's now esconced in his old man's chair ready to watch the rugby.

Me, I think I might have an old lady nap now. LOL!

Spent most of the day getting all my photos and autographs though as the prints of the photos weren't ready, I still have to get Amanda Tapping's autograph tomorrow. She was great, she looks fab and though I missed half her first panel, I caught her talking about body image and how women are pressured into unrealistic expectations. She's worried about her daughter who is already worrying about looking fat even though she's only 8 or 9. I'm hoping I don't look too dorky on our photo as she's about a foot taller than me!

Day 21 of posting happy pics and I'm very happy to be home again with my boy. Even if he was so knackered he's had to go to bed at 9pm! Ha ha ha. Clearly all that tidying up he did while I was away exhausted him.

This pic was taken at the bird reserve at Minsmere a couple of years ago - those blocks are World War II tank traps, thankfully never tested.
