Blood will Flow

Another digital experiment - the base photo was one of wolfpup2000's gorgeous HQ Chicon pics.  I used it to make the first sketch, then as reference for the rest of the drawing.
I'm not sure the shading and highlights quite worked on this one. Too much white methinks.

I nearly forgot to post these...poor photos of the photos, can't wait to get the JPEGs!

These are not that good as the lighting was terrible on the Saturday, added to which I was being a good girl then and sat in my proper seat, which was on the end of the row, and also refrained from using my flash. 

So - largely grainy, and kind of red-hued pics, apart from one or two where I was lucky and caught other people's flashes, and a few of Misha when he came to the mike stand right next to me.  At which time I probably blinded him, ha ha ha!

You can see the full set here on Flickr but I failed utterly in getting the larger/high res versions uploaded there - and I am getting a headache trying to sort them all out, so 1074x768 is the best I can offer, sorry!  (Update - for some reason a handful do have high res available now, don't know why).

Not sure if these are what is being looked for so I've just done a few samples to test the waters...
They are mostly from photos I took in Chicago, I have plenty more if these are ok.
