This had to be a fannish one - in fact, it's my first Dr Who fanart, I think.

The Tenth Doctor with an Adipose (because they might eat kids but they are kind of cute, nonetheless).


( See pic )The peachy lighting is actually thanks to Hurricane Ophelia turning the sun a pinky orange this morning. Apparently the air was full of dust from the Sahara, which turned the sky yellow and made the sun go sunset colours at 11am. Now (2pm) it's bright normal sunshine and VERY gusty winds.

Done with my Japanese Zebra brush pen, my new Zig coloured brush pens and a wash.

For those of you unfamiliar with Peter Capaldi - I saw him most recently in the political satire, The Thick of It. here he is, using a Star Wars analogy with his colleague... I feel when he appears on our screens as the Dr he is possibly going to have to tone his language down a tad. I dunno...

I know I am probably just going to be disappointed when I see the actual episode, but this trailer is awesome. And makes me wish Christopher Eccleston had done a few more seasons.

My hubby is in mourning for Sarah Jane Smith today, what sad news.  Only 63.  Where is the Doctor and his time machine when his assistants really need him to whisk them away into eternal youthfulness?
