Just got back and that was probably the fastest three hours ever. I liked some, hated a small part for reasons, laughed a lot and basically loved the whole effing thing.

There was less of something than I'd expected, and more of something else. My brain got in a bit of a tangle but my feels were totally pinged.

That's all I can say - oh, other than those of you who haven't been yet and are trying to avoid any mention of it, you might like to know there's no end or mid credit extras. There is a noise at the very, very end - so you might want to stay for that. But that's all it is. Not voices, not dialogue, just a noise.

And I for one have NO idea what the noise might mean.

I concur. I don't know if we didn't like the same small part (I think we might have because there was really only one thing that didn't gel right with me) but I was so overwhelmed with a personal feeling of catharsis, I just went home shaking in my boots and muttering under my breath from emotional overload and then I couldn't work this morning because I had to check out all the reactions I could find.

Also, good to know that I didn't imagine that noise. I wasn't sure whether it was in the theater or in the movie (and I had a really REALLY rowdy crowd around me who wouldn't shut up at the beginning so they didn't even notice the movie had started already) but I found it very appropriate that there was no credit scene. Still, that noise.

And now the SPN season finale is just behind me and I'm trying to finish my bigbang on time and there's just like, a lot of feels going around this weekend, I think I need to go sleep now. (If I wasn't so wired)

I'm very happy about all the feels - SPN and Endgame! SPN in particular was a pleasant surprise. :D

Such an absolute surprise. I will admit I did not have great confidence in the showrunners to give us something completely out there and unexpected as making God the big bad (though in hindsight it has kind of a terribly awesome inevitability to it and i will enjoy watching him be brought down and fail as much as i did Thanos, smug entitled godlike... God thst he is), I am even more impressed with the intimate setting they found to reflect those timeless themes of family and sacrifice and story that are so much at the core of the show. It's breathtaking in scope.
