My favourite Beatles song - my ex brother-in-law used to sing this to me (but change it to Hey June, of course!) so it has a soft spot for me as he was a lovely guy! And I like the ending of this vid! :)

Hey Jude isn't my fave, but I think I've got a few faves, it's hard to pick one! Sometimes and Blackbird would be up there though. I can see why it would be your fave though, that's a sweet memory (even if he's an ex. Is this the ex who is now ill? And how is he?)

No, the brother-in-law that's ill is a horrible, selfish bully! And just because he's ill I won't pretend he's suddenly a saint, although I wouldn't wish what he's going through on anyone. He's doing okay, he's had another round of chemo and is having better pain management. The other one is a lovely guy, unfortunately we lost touch with him when he and my middle sister divorced about 25 years ago! I bumped into him when Sam was younger and it was like I'd seen him yesterday.
