A very silly interpretation of today's prompt - yup. Hide and squeak...


And I can't remember if I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I took my Mum to Birmingham to the auction for my two bears. The Bear Necessities one fetched a very respectable £3900, and my other Bhangra Bear raised £2200 - which didn't seem that great, until several bears didn't get a single bid, and weren't sold at all.
Anyhow, the Peaky Blinders bear had minders...!


Randomly - Paul's brother likes shopping in charity shops and brought two onsies round the other day. Paul seems to like it! Or maybe he just wants to be Spiderman. Who knows.

today's inktober is so cute!

what did they auction off the bears for? i mean, i assume it was a charity thing, but who got the money? and i've never seen peaky blinders but i've seen some stills, and i love the peaky bear's appropriately-costumed guardians.

paul seems like kind of a goofball (as does his brother...), and i mean that in the best way. you're never too old to be a superhero in a onesie. :D

Hey, I managed to nail down my last Inktobers today. Whilst I'm not on crazy week (last day of freedom) I decided I'd rather push my hands to the limit and get them done before I end up not finishing on time. The last two aren't even remotely close to the prompt, I just wanted an excuse to draw them ;)

Hey congratulations, that's pretty neat! Did they sell to private collectors or public institutions? Hide and squeak is adorable!

I think it was a mixture of buyers, companies and individuals who lust liked the look of the sculptures. Though you have to have a fair bit of room to accommodate something this large! When we had the trail in my home town, the pig I painted was bought by a family who have put him in their garden.
