A trip down memory lane
Mar. 21st, 2016 07:05 pmSo in the olden days, I used to make my own birthday and Christmas cards for people. When I was eighteen I was into Indian miniatures and Japanese painting, even though I was rubbish at immitating either! LOL
Here, for sh*ts and giggles, are some of my efforts, as found by my Aunty Margaret recently when she was tidying up. They are either birthday cards for her or for my Granny.
This is a pseudo Greco Roman one. I did love my Prussian Blue gouache!

And this a Moghul-esque effort that has gone badly wrong with the perspective

This is probably the best of the three - though who knows what the Japanese actually says, or even if I copied it right. Maybe
chomaisky could tell me?
