No refs so the boys don't look much like themselves though I can promise, Dean does have freckles.  And that is supposed to be a firebird feather Sam's holding...

Oh and I could claim this as a fill for hc_bingo, hypothermia...

This actually made me gasp (because omg, great!) at first glance and then, at a second glance, I really got into the details.

I told you I got into composition lately, so my eyes immediately went there in your picture and I'm just blown away. I've been marvelling about a couple of concepts (lines, for instance) but you've balanced it all out so harmonically that it looks...well, harmonic, but still interesting.

Also, the details! The birds, horse (beautiful!) and the trees. All the detail there!

I guess I don't even have to go into the way you painted the boys, right? Because it goes without saying that you do a wonderful job of that.

So thanks for sharing a wonderful picture with the fandom that just invites the mind to start wandering ♥

Aw you are too kind! It's funny you should mention the compostition because I think I got that wrong - I never think about it like we are supposed to until I've finished, I just move things around until I think they look nice. This one I think I've ended up leading the eye to that empty space in the middle which is a bit of a whoops!

Oh, my eye went...will you think badly of me if I say it went to Sam's behind? It's nice and prominently in the foreground and...shapely? I'm ashamed now.
