No refs so the boys don't look much like themselves though I can promise, Dean does have freckles.  And that is supposed to be a firebird feather Sam's holding...

Oh and I could claim this as a fill for hc_bingo, hypothermia...

This so needs a fic! I'm wondering about the story behind the firebird and crow. Dean is like a knight coming to rescue, but he seems to be in no better conditions than Sam. I also love the watercolor touch of the frozen stream that set Sam and Dean apart and winds its way to the far background.

This actually made me gasp (because omg, great!) at first glance and then, at a second glance, I really got into the details.

I told you I got into composition lately, so my eyes immediately went there in your picture and I'm just blown away. I've been marvelling about a couple of concepts (lines, for instance) but you've balanced it all out so harmonically that it looks...well, harmonic, but still interesting.

Also, the details! The birds, horse (beautiful!) and the trees. All the detail there!

I guess I don't even have to go into the way you painted the boys, right? Because it goes without saying that you do a wonderful job of that.

So thanks for sharing a wonderful picture with the fandom that just invites the mind to start wandering ♥

Hurting Winchesters, adorable horsey, snow, awesome glowy firebird and a raven - you captured everything awesome in the world and put in one piece. References or not, the composition is fabulous and Dean looks so utterly miserable, it's perfection! I mean, err...poor boys ;)

I adore the colours and glittery shimmer of the firebird against all the white snow. The bright red blood really catches your eye too.

Wow! This is amazing! And the boys CERTAINLY look like themselves! Wow, I can't stop ogling at this and you artists have got to shtahp because I have an exam in two days and my mind is filled with plot bunnies now.

Amazing job, though, you're very talented. Wish I could be more analytical about your style, but I'm a layperson when it comes to art and I draw my random mountains and trees sometimes.
