Of pleasantness and happy things

amberdreamsAfter my little crisis of confidence yesterday, which some of you were kind enough to slap me for being so silly (ta very much, I loves y'all), here are some things that made me happy today.
First my Mum took this admirable photo of my little Dad out playing with some modern sculpture and looking very well.
Then I had a skype call with both parents during which Dad turned up bright red from sunbathing in his Y fronts. I have spared you a screen shot of that glorious sight and you get his hairy red shoulders instead.
Then we had another wonderful sunny day of free music in the Park. Here's a sample, local guy Tom Sanderson.
And lastly - ANDY MURRAY FREAKING WON WIMBLEDON!!! Suddenly he is a bouncing Brit not a surly Scot, and the Nation rejoices. First Brit to win since 1936. Not that we are counting, or anything. And the BBC kept playing that marvellous Inception music during the build up to the match. I love that piece.
