Sarah Jane - sadly missed.

My hubby is in mourning for Sarah Jane Smith today, what sad news.  Only 63.  Where is the Doctor and his time machine when his assistants really need him to whisk them away into eternal youthfulness?

I mean, Tennant is "my Doctor" and he is a pretty recent one. So as your photo shows, she looks a lot younger. And even if not, 63 is no age to go.

Yes, I know - she has only just finished a series of the kids' spin off about Sarah Jane, and she looked well in that. Cancer is a terrible thing though, can be a really swift killer sometimes.
