Danneel & JJ drawing - 2nd attempt

Thank you everyone for your advice yesterday! The general consensus was both mouths were not wide enough, Danneel's chin too long/square, teeth wrong, more shading required.

So I tried to widen both mouths a little, make Danneel's teeth bigger etc - and now I've cocked up her mouth totally LOL. She looks like she's got buck teeth. I think I'll probably just scrap this and maybe try again later on nicer paper that is more forgiving to a putty rubber.

Had one last try to fix the buck teeth, not sure it worked...but I'm definitely stopping here.

Wow! While I do concur about the teeth (sorry!!!) I think her face looks great! I think softening the chin and also that smile line made a difference (to layman eyes). Looking good !!!!

Thanks v much! I think/hope I've fixed the teeth problem (maybe) so I'm going to stop messing now or I think I'll just totally eff it up.

As a non-artist, looking at it with a non-critical eye, I think you've captured their likenesses perfectly. I think any little things that are bothering you are the same sort of thing when you look at a photo of yourself, and it jsut looks weird, but everyone else thinks it's a great picture.

Aw thanks - I think I will stop fiddling - I've fixed her teeth (kinda) and if I mess about any more it will eff the whole thing up.

OMG, you got JJ perfectly! You almost expect to hear her babble. Danneel's almost as perfect. Good work!

Oh phew thank you - and thanks for all the comments yesterday too - I think I've made Danneel's teeth a bit better since I posted this version so I reckon I'll quit while some of you think I'm winning! I know if I try and fiddle too much more I'll probably wreck it.
