Gratuitious Dark Angel picspam

amberdreamsI should be doing my art for the fabulous 
dollarformyname's Dark Angel Big Bang, but I got distracted looking for reference pics of Alec and Ben so now I HAVE to share the pretty. Because Alec and Ben were so very, VERY pretty. Wounded, broken boys covering all that hurt with cocky bravado. So? I think we've already established, I have a type, okay?

Ooops that ended up longer than I intended - it was hard to choose amongst all the photos I've got saved!

Date: 2014-12-04 06:03 pm (UTC)It's so weird because I watched Dark Angel when it was originally on TV (mainly S1, because I was at uni without a TV when S2 aired, so I didn't really keep up with it) and for years afterwards, whenever I thought about Dark Angel, just one scene always stood out in my mind: Max and Ben fighting in the woods in Pollo Loco. Jensen did such a great job as Ben that his one appearance in one episode was what defined the show for me :P.
I didn't realise until after I'd seen 6 seasons of SPN and started getting involved with the fandom, that the guy in that one Dark Angel scene which had stuck with me for over 10 years was Dean Winchester :P.

Date: 2014-12-04 07:33 pm (UTC)A couple of years ago, after I had watched SPN and realised it was Jensen in DA, I bought the Dark Angel DVDs and rewatched the entire series (I also rewatched S6 of Dawson's Creek when I realised 'Jen's boyfriend' from that season was Jensen too :P).
