So me and my friend had a lovely day out in London today to see David Tennant's performance of Shakespeare's Richard II at the Barbican.  I took a couple of snaps on my phone of the stage before the performance started and had to delete one when they caught me sneaking a pic of the performance (Oh naughty naughty Byrne).
The set was clever - those pillars are all projected.large images under the cut )

I've got tickets for the live cinema showing on 30th Jan and was looking forward to it simply because of Mr Hiddleston (Coriolanus is not one of my fave Shakespeare plays).  But reading this review http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-12-18/tom-hiddleston-mark-gatiss-and-borgen-star-birgitte-hjort-srensen-dazzle-in-coriolanus I am now actually really excited to see it!  Saturday me and my friend are going down to London to see David Tennant in Richard II, which I am also excited about.  In fact December and January are Shakespeare-heavy months for me with Jude Law's Henry V on the 9th Jan too.

Woo hoo!  Or rather I should quoth me a huzzah, sirrah!
