A rare foray across the fandom divide with this year's Marvel Big Bang. I was lucky to snag shinysylver's slow burn Stony fic, Toward the Sun . Not only is the story really good, but shiny was a joy to work with.
A sensitively written AU where Tony survives the End Game snap and Steve doesn't stay in the past, it's a really nice characterful piece that doesn't neglect the rest of the ensemble cast.

The main pic is a scene that particularly appealed to me.
Tony tracks down White Vision in Sokovia.

Process ramblings
I had a lot of ideas but as usual lacked the time to do more than one main pic. For this one I used a watercolour test piece I'd done a little while ago, trying out various colours and adding salt and tissue paper to create textures. I then got the coloured pencils out and tried to turn it into a forest. Here's what it looked like before I added the figures and knocked some of the background back adding digital mist. Many thanks to my lovely Marvel Art Party friends for putting up with my dithering about whether to crop or not!

I drew Tony and vision separately and coloured them with watercolour.
Vision wouldn't scan as the blues were too pale, so I had to photograph it

So for consistency, I photographed Tony too.

I liked the smaller watercoloured Tony's face better than the second one, but never mind. So these two were drawn with graphite pencil and a black Stabilo Aquarellable to add some dark darks, and then wash with a water brush. All the colouring was then done digitally for the banner.
