Seasons Greetings and have some AU Winchesters

@tgtbata on Twitter had an open invitation to make art in an exchange - you can find her fabulous art she did for me HERE. One of her prompts for me was thw Winchesters as footy players (that's soccer not US footy of course). So.
Happy Christmas one and all!


I confess, I struggled SO badly with this. I'm in such a bad mood for doing any art at the moment, drawing anything is like pulling teeth. But I guess it pays to persevere and put up with something that doesn't work in some areas if it does work in most. LOL

So...
Here's some of the steps on the way.
Sketch failure no:2

Sketch-almost-right no:3, where Sam was acceptable but I didn't have enough paper left to fit in Dean!


And a bonus (or not depending on your preference) with digital fiddling to make it look like an etching.

Oddly enough there is something interesting artistically to me in the failed sketch. The scribbling out part in no. 2 is doing something for me. Idk, the gray and the maroon lines are probably conveying your frustrations at the time. It just feels so relatable.
The whole theme reminds me of that (charity?) soccer match that Jensen went to? Do you remember that one? Was it last year that it happened? Yeah Sept 2019. hehe. Jensen was such a lovable dork in that match.

Oh that match feels like eons ago, doesn't it! But it did provide a lot of joy at the time, bless his enthusiasm and blatant cheating. LOL

That scribbling out was mild, I restrained myself - sometimes arting makes me crazy. I'm glad you relate because it makes me feel let nuts but wish neither of us felt this way! 😂
