Hell's bells, but this one took me forever for some reason! Which is weird because the story is great, and I had plenty of ideas, I just seemed to hit a problem with every version I tried. BUT - today I managed something I was reasonably happy with so - PHEW! At least the cat looks ok. LOL

So. Here's my quicky_bang that was more a slowbang, for deadlybride's Concessions. Go read it, there's Winchesters and a Maine Coon, what more could you want?


Basically, this is me trying Indian ink on watercolour paper. I wanted to do something much cooler than this, but it ain't too bad. I should have drawn Sam's face in pencil first, though. That would have helped. Painting shapes straight without fixing proportions isn't my forte.

Whoa, such a powerful painting in just black and white, I'm in awe of your handling of the Indian Ink. The brush effect is perfect for capturing a cat, IT'S SO FLUFFY! I love how you drew both the Maine Coon and Sam in profile, you created a great composition. Extra kudos for that little curl in Sam's hair<3

that is a very fluffy-looking cat. i want to reach into the screen and pet it. sam too, even tho he's not so much with the fluff. :D seriously tho, the ink looks good.
