This time I ventured a little off-piste for me, into Destiel territory for the Dean Cas Reverse Bang, and my offering was picked up by the lovely and patient Legendsofsnark.

Summary: The Winchester brothers are working for the Angel Bureau of Investigation on a case. Several angels have gone missing and University Professor Castiel Novak appears to be their prime suspect - that is until Dean goes missing too, and Sam and Castiel have to team up to find him.

This was my second attempt at that scene - here's my first effort
This first one was acrylic on board and I kind of hated it - though actually having looked at it today it looks better in real life than it does in this photo. But it's still not good.
I didn't like the second (submitted) version much better though, so when it came to trying for a banner, I had a third go at Misha, and again, it's not great. *sigh*
This is the banner in progress - a pencil drawing being coloured in PS. The wings were done in Indian ink on some thick but non watercolour paper, and then splashed with red watercolour because I couldn't find my bottle of red ink. That didn't work out how I wanted either, but I ran out of time to do anything else.
So all round, I think I was very lucky that Legendsofsnark liked the picture enough to write me a story!
