Mysterious goings on next door - I'm worried about our neighbour now. Had a baby police officer knock on our door about 5pm to ask if we'd seen either of the couple next door today - we hadn't - and when we last saw them - yesterday about 5:30pm when we had a chat about their new car and the hazards of parking under trees.

Baby policeman then went and sat in his car over the road - now we have two police cars and an ambulance, and paramedics and a police officer (not the baby one) have just gone inside the house...

Now the police just brought the husband Tony out with his arms behind his back but they've put him in the ambulance and the two police cars have now gone, just the ambulance with Tony and a lady police officer are hanging around as if they're waiting for something.

Baby policeman is also still here.

Now Olwen has come out with two friends and there was much conflab with the police, then some laughing (so maybe not serious?) and now Olwen is also inside the ambulance and the two friends plus remaining police have gone home. So I assume crisis is averted? Who knows!

Update: Tony is out of the ambulance with blood on his t shirt and one wrist bandaged and is arguing with the ambulance peeps because he doesn't want to go to hospital - they are insisting he needs to get checked out. Olwen was standing there ignoring everyone texting but has now tried to get Tony to go to hospital... Wonder how long this Mexican standoff will continue...

After much talking and waving of arms, and to and fro from the ambulance, both Tony and Olwen got in and were whisked off to hospital. I never saw them come back so they must have been up there a while.

Since I only ever see them every now and then, I'll probably never know what happened!

Oh the drama!!!! If you ever hear anything from any of your neighbours about what happened you'll have to pass it on. I feel like I need to know now...
