Bee-ing busy

After moving him to my neighbour's garage again (with the help of a wheely trolly and Paul and his little brother), I did nothing yesterday, but made good progress today.

Here's Bee-sy Rider on the move up the hill

along the top of the road

and safely ensconced in Anne and David's garage

I then painted the base with the road and the grass, and today I did the sun, a second and third coat on the road, then his eyes and antenna. I thought I was taking lots of pics for a stop motion this morning, but it turns out I hadn't twisted the dial on the camera so all I had was two pics! LOL. This afternoon was better but less dramatic as I was going over bits that already had a base colour.
This one is a video (clicking takes you to Flickr to view it) because LJ is refusing to post the embedded code to the gif on Imgur. A-fuckin-gain. What the hell is going on? ARGH

I reckon I should be able to finish him in a couple more days, three at the most.
And does ANYONE have any idea why LJ is wiping code again?????? FUCKING HELL!!!! Stupid bollocksy buggering thing!

he is quite large but I'd thought he was ok to go indoors - and except for the stupid metal bits at the bottom, he would have fit fine. But he was too heavy to tip or manoeuvre through the doorway, and the metal bits were about 3-4cm too wide for the frame,
