Firstly - Happy Birthday borgmama1of5, hope you have a lovely day! Here's some Demon!Dean for you.
Demon Dean
A pencil sketch finished off on PS. The original is in my sketchbook back in Shrewsbury so it won't get finished until I visit my Mum again.

Totally unrelated...

While I was up in Shrewsbury a week or so ago, we had a day trip to Ludlow. Mum has to have her morning coffee fix, so we went in The Feathers, which is a gorgeous 15-16th building. It was built as a house, but has been an inn since the 1600s. I took a few snaps with my phone to show y'all.

This one is famous for it's wood carvings. In Ipswich we have the Ancient House which has one of the earliest depictions of a tobacco plant in Europe in its pargetting.
Africa is represented by a naked man holding a spear, Asia by a horse and a mosque-like building, Europe by a woman with a horse and castle, and America by a man with a dog at his feet.
Here's the whole front (if you click through to Flickr the chap who took this put loads of info about the building with the photo)

And here's America - the twig thing on the right is supposed to be tobacco.

Thank you for the birthday wishes and the lovely picture of Dean!

My job gives everyone their birthday off and I am spending it on an SPN project I've had in mind for a couple years--making a formal scrapbook with my pictures and experiences from the cons I've attended!

And having pizza and brownies :)

Your other photos are very intriguing as well!

Oh you'll have to take photos of your scrapbook when you are done - sounds like a great way to spend a day off!

Demon Dean is wicked... And yep that is a pretty fancy building. I'd love to stay there just to see what the bedrooms are like.

I'm from California. I cannot even fathom a house that old (and beautiful!) being so cavalierly turned into a COFFEE SHOP. We have a few things here that old, Spanish missions and pueblas and such, but we turned them all into national landmarks.

Ha ha it's a pub and hotel as well as a cafe. If you scroll up the comments you can see photos of one of my town's historic buildings (first built in the 1400s) which is now a Lakeland shop. It used to be a bookshop which felt much more appropriate than kitchen-wares!

but dean looks too happy and non-demon-eyed to be a demon! he is so ridiculously good-looking.

that's some house! inn, whatever. the patterns created by all those panes of glass are just crazy.

He does look very happy, doesn't he! Actually it's interesting that Demon Dean in the show only showed his black eyes a couple of times that I remember.

The Feathers is awesome - it's actually a pub-come-hotel-come-cafe. You can stay there...

Ah thank you! I was trying to work out where the baby was then realised you were looking at the Ancient house pargetting of America - I see what you mean! That little round tummy and the loin-cloth that looks like a nappy - so funny! I think he's actually supposed to be a native American of some sort but that artist obviously wasn't that good... :D
