Oh my goodness, this is WONDERFUL! I love how you used the warm colours, and you really captured his sense of dignity and calm in his expression.

I like the soft color scheme you went with, kind of a subtle complementary contrast with the greenish-yellows and the purples. And I like that you left the suit more unfinished in comparison to the face, but all the lines on the necklace draw the eye upward. Really nice. :)

I drew a little Nigerian girl once, and it was a really nice challenge to do, it was surprising the colours I ended up using, especially a lot of ice blue in the highlights.

Some African skin tones are amazingly dark and have that blue tint, this guy is much lighter and warmer tones.
