I had the photos taken for this FB meme but forgot to finish posting them, so I've done a catch up on Facebook today, and thought I'd follow in jj1564 and dizzojay's footsteps and post here too. Sorry about the multi-postings lately! One more to come today - my first spn_rb post! Yay!

And a bonus Day 8 with my hare in situ in the spare bedroom!

Luckily Paul's brother came round yesterday after they'd both been to see their mum, so I put them both to work carrying the hare upstairs. Paul managed to knock a light fitting off the wall in the process, which caused some consternation, but he's also managed to stick it back up, and now I have the best excuse to call out the electrician for a quote. Those light fittings were left behind by the previous owner and I hate them, so now they are going to go! Huzzah!

This is the design that's supposed to be painted on to the hare, in case you were wondering.

I'm going to have to work something out for those front legs though, as they stand so far forward of the body.
Here's me on my tip toes and I can nearly reach the top of his ear. LOL

I probably won't start work on him until I get home from Shrewsbury on Monday. It's Mum's birthday so I'm going up to see her for a few days.

There's something about black and white photos that I just love; something they just seem much more moody and atmospheric! These are beautiful!!!

Lovely b&w pics, I particularly like the patterned blouse, very nice! And I love the pic of you trying to reach your hare's ears, painting him is going to be a challenge! Your design is lovely and getting rid of your wall lights is an added bonus - not a hare-brained scheme at all!

That blouse is rather nice in colour - all purples and pinks. But it's White Stuff and therefore too expensive to even look at before the sales. LOL

Thanks! They were all taken with my iPhone then I just used the noir filter to turn them black & white. I like that one because it gives a really high contrast - which worked really well with that bright sunshine!
