yay! It works too. So now I just need to work out if my impression is correct that Imgur only allowed me to upload a set number (which was small) of images...

great artwork, Amber! And the Jensen gif is quite fitting - my heart made the same sounds at seeing our boys half naked! XD Anyway, as far as I know, Imgur does a security check (in case you're a bot) when you upload, let's say, 20 pics or more (I usually run into that check whenever I upload a batch of icons, which mostly have way more than 20 pics).

Right... but I seem to remember I had to delete a bunch of photos from Imgur because it put some sort of cap on the capacity of my account, and wouldn't let me upload more until I'd made some room. And as I only had about 200 photos on there, I didn't bother using the site again except for GISHWHES.

I think they dropped that limit somewhere along the way. Cause I currently have about 2,400 pics stored there and I never, ever got a message that I needed to delete some (and I have larger graphics there as well).

From Dreamwidth you can crosspost images to LJ, you just can't crosspost to AO3. I wish they'd lift that restriction life would be so much simpler if they did..... le sigh.

Free but I was looking at the site yesterday and can't find any information about upgrading or getting a paid account so assumed there wasn't one. If you have the info, please point me to it! I feel I'm probably missing some obvious link.

Nope, there's no paid account possibility on Imgur (that's why I like it so much!)
