Sketching and bears

NB this post contains nudes of both sexes.
Bhangra bear is coming along, his waistcoat is taking a while but is starting to look how I envisaged it so yay! The combination of paint and acrylic markers is working well, though the markers lose their nib integrity pretty quickly so I'm having to trim them back with scissors.
Detail:
This is how he looked before the yellow, orange and gold was added
I've put a bit of base colour on Bear Necessities (on the parts I can reach anyhow) so he's just lurking by the bureau, waiting his turn.
Now, onto the sketching and life drawing catch up.
I missed two weeks of the sketchbooking class but this was what I did in our last lesson. Sadly as it was a couple of weeks ago, I've forgotten what it was about, other than we were drawing architecture. Term starts again tomorrow.
NSFW follows...
Life drawing has certainly provided a variety of models! We haven't had the same person modelling yet, which is good in some ways but bad in others.
This was Kaz, who is one of the organisers. She's a dancer, but after Colin in the first week, I found her poses a bit disappointing.
Then there was this lady who came down from Norwich to model for us. She was good, did lots of interesting poses, and was very enthusiastic about it. Can't think why, but I'm not complaining!
Two minute poses - so hard to get everything down in such a short time!
This was a longer pose - I think 10 or 15 minutes.
This next one was my favourite of the ones I did of this Norwich lady.
Then last week was a middle-aged bloke called Tim - I confess, not only was he not an Adonis, but his poses were boring, and by the time we got to the last 25 minute pose I'd rather lost interest and Dean happened. No reference of course, as what is on the left in the biro is what was actually in front of me. Well, you can't blame me for my mind wandering to more attractive (if imaginary)prospects, can you? *grin*
