Dean in pencil

My mum got me a huge tin of Inktense coloured pencils and they are lovely! I'm just playing with them in the hour of daylight we got today (hate December for the shortness of the days) and I haven't tried watercolourifying them yet. Part of me doesn't want to, because I love the texture, but then again what's the point of watercolour pencils if you aren't brave enough to add water? LOL
Anyhow. Here's where I'm at so far. Thanks, Mum!

New art supplies rule the whole universe. He's gorgeous btw. I'd love to see him kind of half watercolour, half not, to keep the texture. I bet that would be an interesting mix of mediums :)

Lovely. I miss the days when I was taking art classes. Going to the art supply store was so much fun, though I did get some sideways glances when I fondled the brushes.

I understand why you might want to add the water. The texture is lovely.
