I got to work with the lovely and talented non_tiembo_mala on this spn_cinema - a revisting of The Bourne Identity with Jensen as Bourne.
We both managed to get in a few muddles over posting dates and I confused her even more by sending her the wrong art all together, but yay! We made it.

Process and progress stuff:
Here's the pencil drawing of Jensen with the gun I used for the banner. I think his lips should be fuller...

I bet most of you will recognise the reference I used for this, yup it's a screen cap of Dean. I also used various Bourne posters for the colour scheme and the idea of the rifle sights as part of the background.
The poster was all done digitally and I confess to making a lot of use of PS's mixer brush. Now I've found it. I'm going to use it! The reference for drowning Jensen and for the fishing boat were from general image searches, I didn't use a reference for Jensen's face, hands or feet on the drowning pic and it shows (though the persepctive is supposed to be skewed, ok?)! LOL

Ohhhh, I love this - very Bournesque!!! I love the rifle sight, and those lovely green eyes and freckles. The underwater image is very effective and I like that extra touch of the trickle of blood too. Thank you for sharing :)

That blue and yellow combo is so effective I had to give it a go! I made my shades a bit warmer than the original posters though, i think. Glad you like it!

I seriously love this; drawn Jensen works very well with that graphic background, what a great combination! How did you capture his freckles so perfectly, I love the upclose look of his arm. And he just licked his bottom lip, didn't he? I can see it shine <3

The drowning scene is gorgeous too, I love the shift in texture between the storm, the sea and underwater.

Also: kudos for the tight bannertext (I'm a big fan of text, mkay) and thanks for adding the sketch, I love you sketch style so much.

Ah now you're asking - I know I used one of the PS brushes for the freckles but I'm not sure which one. I think it was one that is supposed to be used for hair. What I tend to do is brush them in, then erase a bunch until it looks about right.

Looking at the perspective now it doesn't look at all right to me but never mind!

I cannot say enough how much I love this amazing artwork. Jensen is so handsome and I love how you incorporated the colour scheme from the original Bourne stuff. And the second piece -- wow! The water is incredible!!! The atmosphere is so dark and I just love it. Thank you so much for these and I'm so so so glad we got to work together on this <33

Oh, very nice. I LOVE the colours on the main banner, so intense it's like I'm right there. And the watery drowning is so moody and creepy, cold. Nope, don't want to be drowning any time soon!
