glovered that I ended up doing something experimental and retro at the same time. I hope it works to give you a taste of the horror vibe from the fic!

The art follows:

Sam in Detroit, tracking Dean Smith...
Dean Smith's movie poster
It is supposed to be a bit fuzzy round the edges, in case you think I just totally failed at cutting and pasting LOL
Process:
It was hard to work out how best to do the art for this one. Being an AU based on Notting Hill (with horror!), it was crying out for photomanips - and I had the idea for the movie poster first. Then after doing that, somehow it didn't feel right to do something looser, so the street scene pic is a manip that I then put through some PS filters to get that painted effect. The background is a photo of graffitti in Detroit I found on an image search, the main photo of Dean was a promo pic from last year, and Sam was from one of my own screen shots.
The banner is more closely tied to two separate but specific scenes in the fic, and consists of an image searched photo of some docks, plus a drawn silhouette of Dean.
And that's about it!
