Inktober Day 6 - Hidden

Nothing much to say about this one. Dean crept in there again, funny that... It's a day late as I didn't get to it yesterday. I do have an idea for today's challenge, but my eyes are tired and the day has turned out very is dull and grey, so I may not get to it.
Out of interest, this is displaying larger than life: I used my wee A6 sketchbook for this one. So far biro is definitely my fave ink medium.

And yeah, he's not really very well hidden at all - but then that's Dean: says little, thinks can mask his feelings with bluster and bravado, but he's an open book to us and to Sam.

That's beautiful. I see traces of a bird in the swirls and I love how it crosses the page. It reminds me a bit of a celtic illuminated manuscript. Very awesome.

Ooh I like that you can see things in the patterns... I studied Anglo Saxon manuscripts at uni so yep, there is probably some influence there, along with a drop of Art Nouveau. Thanks!

This is beautiful! The geometric designs have such detail to them, and I love the balance of the open twists of white against the fill portions. And Dean's profile here is delightful--that nose! And of course, those eyelashes. ;)

I've been struggling to make my mind up on a new piece for a while now, I draw them out but after a few weeks (which is always a good idea, to wait and see how you feel) I just don't 'like' them for that any more. Would you be interested in creating a version with slightly skinnier/crisper lines, because I could seriously see this as a piece I'd choose. xx

No, not less crowded. I love it with it's kinda craziness. Actually, would you object to me tracing it out, then showing you what I've got? It'd make more sense for me to fiddle with it because I can't describe exactly what I mean. If that's not something you're comfy with then I'd understand :)

Oh yes, that make smuch more sense! Trace away then you can keep in or leave out whatever makes sense to you for a tattoo.

If you'd like and don't mind, do you have a signature squiggle that you sign your work with? I'd like that on the piece, if that makes sense, so I could trace it onto the finished product :)
