Dreams are weird (but sometimes have potential!)

Two dreams I had recently, and I don't think I wrote them up so here they are for posterity.

The first one wasn't Supernatural related but it did feature one of my other heroes...

I can’t believe I had such a happy little dream. I was with two other fangirls, no idea who they were (though I knew them at the time), and we bumped into Paul Newman at some event or other. It wasn’t a formal setting, maybe a café or similar, so we were able to just stand there and chat with him. I don’t remember much about the conversation, just that he was charming, modest and utterly kind to us. He seemed happy to spend time with us, signed autographs and flashed that devastating twinkle in those baby-blue eyes of his.

Of course, in reality, if Mr Newman was still alive and I had an encounter, I’d be an incoherent puddle on the floor. I mean, not only did I have a crush a mile wide when I was a teenager, but the man starred in three of my top films of all time – The Sting, Cool hand Luke and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

As it was, the only thing I can remember asking him was some weird question about whether he knew Steve McQueen, and I can’t even remember his answer. Probably because I wouldn’t know the answer without looking it up! I do remember not wanting to leave the dream because it was making me so warm and happy.

Dream number two did feature Jared and Jensen but yet again - no frigging sexy times! Come on brain... But at least it was exciting.

It was the sort of J2 adventure thriller type dream that I'd love someone like zubeneschamali to write. It had something to do with them trusting and not trusting each other, and role reversals. They were in a street, and Jensen was taking Jared somewhere. Jared was some sort of specialist engineer genius. They were attacked by enemy forces, Jensen was shot and Jared thought he was dead – there was blood everywhere. Jared was knocked out and kidnapped.

...and then I woke up. Dammit. I want to know what happened next...

And Paul Newman!!! <3333 What an excellent celebrity to come visit in your sleep. <3 I will fully admit that Cars 2 had me in tears within the first ten minutes because of its Paul Newman tribute.

And uh, that was Cars 2 for god's sake. XP

I just reread candle_beck's On the Dodge SPN version of Butch Cassidy and that made me cry. It was like a double whammy - Sam and Dean overlaid with Butch and Sundance. Never seen either of the Cars movies though. :D

Cars 2 is basically Tokyo Drift but starring a tractor, and believe me, Tokyo Drift is a horrible movie even before involving culturally insensitive tractors!!!! XP AND YET. PAUL NEWMAN.

Proof that Paul Newman can make just about anything feel poignant, including lemonade, salsa, and Cars 2.
