Celebration part 1 - me and zara_zee snaffled our first choice in spn_meanttobe so will be collaborating on a fine romance between pool hustler (Jensen) and MC bad boy (Jared).

Celebration Part 2...

One or more of my designs have been shortlisted for this community art project - and okay, I might not get any farther, but it's still quite exciting. If one of my designs gets picked I have to paint a giant fibreglass pig using acrylics (meep!!!!), and it will then go on display somewhere round town, along with 40-50 other giant painted pigs. For fun, these were my three entries:
Harry Trotter (his owl is our local Tawny owl, Mabel, of course)

Then there is the Pork and Ride
Dunno if you have Park and Ride buses in the rest of the world but they are a thing here in the UK, so this is supposed to be a pig version, ferrying round his farmyard friends. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's corny. LOL

followed by the Swinions

We had a template we had to use so the pig outlines aren't mine, And we had to give them two side views and one looking down from above.
Apparently many of the people who enter these things are professional artists from all over the country, as well as local schools etc, so I reckon I'll be lucky if I get any farther, but you never know! We've seen quite a few of these over the years (from the Lambananas in Liverpool to owls in Birmingham) and they are fun. Plus I'd get paid so having to provide my own paint wouldn't be too bad. I've never painted anything that large before though, so it would be quite a challenge!
