So...did Jared get his eyes lasered at some point too? I know Jensen did... Just curious after seeing these photos from (I think) 2010, someone's wedding

I didn't know Jensen had Lasik, or even that he wore glasses. But OMG, Jared looks ADORABLE here. So CUTE. That's also the handsomest his brother has ever looked to me. That Padalecki hair! I wonder if it was the wedding of a family member or friend, since Jared and his bro both seem to be in the wedding party.

Do you know who the woman is in the top photo? Is it Jared's mom?

ETA: Jared could just be like me, (or like I used to be; I'm getting blinder) in that he only needs glasses for distance/driving, and he had them here so he could see the wedding clearly at a distance. I put on my glasses at the movie theater or at events like cons, but can't wear them every day, esp. when looking at a computer screen.

Really? I think the woman in the blue dress looks nothing like his mom.
It's possible that he wears contacts, but it's just as likely that he was goofing around putting on someone else's glasses. I've seen him do that several times.

I would guess that some "normal" phots with glasses would have appeared at some point like they did with Jensen if he needed glasses, but that's just a guess.

She: "oh dear, can you hold these for a second" (while she is taking photos or whatever )
GoofyMcGoof: [puts them on instead, takes pic with her before doing as he was actually supposed to]

Ooooh you are? Awesome... He's absolutely charming and so down to earth, I was going to hand him my glasses for the photo but he was all 'oh no, I've got mine right here, and he whipped his reading glasses out of a pocket and put them on for me... This is the photo I got.

Ohhhh, I wonder if he did!!! I did notice that in that recent (ish) live stream video that J2 posted, JP was squinting a lot when trying to read the messages on the phone, but maybe that was the lighting?.

That's the first time I've ever seen himin glassses, barring when he plays around with other peoples. So maybe those were really the glasses of the woman and he is goofing around.

I remember seeing Jensen's contacts in closeups before the lasik, and I never saw any in jared's eyes.

Too busy being ded from the adorableness of glasses!baby!Jared, but like some of the others said, I'm guessing he was just playing around with the woman's glasses. I'm pretty sure we'd seen actual photos of him in glasses if he (had) needed them.

I freely admit, I have a bit of a glasses fetish and really wish the boys would both have to wear them... *pouts*
