Close your eyes and picture Dean, leaning back against the sleek, gleaming black and chrome of his 1967 Chevy Impala…

Don’t question my being here with him; here at the end of all things.

I’ve earned the right.

 

It’s been a long, dangerous road we’ve travelled together, all these years.

 

I died once, you know – like a real Winchester.

I was even possessed – the strangest experience of my existence, no mistake.

 

I’ve been there every moment - seeing him through wild storms, battling demons, ghosts and raw emotion;

I’ve endured excruciating karaoke singing, arguments, pranks and laughter.

 

It is only fitting that I’m here, now, offering him something to lean on, as my boys face their final challenge.

 

Armageddon.
