Snowflake Day 3 - self recs

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.

Ooer! I feel that this close to posting a big list of 2015 works this exercise might be overkill! But I'll put on my tin hat and blow my whistle - here we go, over the top, chaps!

Fics first:

1. It's a Dogs Life.  At 20k it's one of my longer fics, plus it has wonderful, perfect art by odysseaia (who I miss enormously!). I'm fond of this one - it was a lot of fun to write, I think I managed the mix of comedy and angst that I wanted (because Dean's dog-like qualities are obvious to me, and include that blind devotion that leads Dean down many a dark road...). Not a companion piece but also dog related if you like that kind of thing, there's Nothing but a Hound Dog, a much shorter ficlet about Sam being a Hellhound.


2. A short bit of fluff - and I have no idea where I got this title from... Lassie would have brought me a key. in which Dean thinks the bunker has a rat infestation. I dunno why I'm recing this, just that I like it, I suppose. Plus de_nugis wrote something recently about the Worldcat in the Bunker and that reminded me of this. And ha ha double reccing here - if cats are your thing, there is also this little one Sam's Inner Cat, in which Sam is cursed and Dean is amused.


3. Ok, one more fic. Oh Bondage, Up Yours! I'm reccing this because I so very rarely write anything explicit, plus I actually knew nothing about bondage or BSDM, and had to do a lot of research, so it was quite a challenge. But I think it turned out ok.

Right I don't want to get carried away here ha ha ha so that'll do.

i won't bother with art recs too.

I just read the two I missed and revisited A Dog's Life. What a great story that was! And I've got to say, from the title of the bondage story I was expecting something much more lighthearted. It was a nice deep look at Dean's needs and Sam's willingness to explore them.
