Oooh that texture - I think I found it on Flickr but I omitted to save the author's name. It was called Sunburst and is really gorgeous.
With Dean's eyes - I wanted to follow a tutorial I found on DeviantArt but couldn't work out how to use Blend in the way she was instructing so went back to cutting holes and pasting transparent layers over the top...It felt a bit like my Mum using real scissors and glue to cut and paste her newsletter when she started using a computer!!!

Thank you! So glad you noticed Dean's eyes (that effect wasn't exactly what I'd been trying for but came out well enough in the end!). The Sam eye was a screen cap from this site http://www.homeofthenutty.com/supernatural/screencaps/thumbnails.php?album=123&page=13 that I fiddled with a bit.
