2. Your own best original character - Geraldine Winchester
I don't know if she's my best, or how many OCs I've written, but she's the one I'm most fond of. Geraldine Winchester is the boys paternal grandmother, from my summergen fic, Legacy.
I just liked the idea of posing a solution to the mystery of John's upbringing, and the whereabouts of Henry Winchester's wife, who never got mentioned in the show. The story's summary goes:
Time travel really is a bitch. When Dean accidentally stumbles through a time portal inside the Bat Cave, he discovers some new information about the Men of Letters legacy and about his own family.
Geraldine wasn't based on anyone I know, I just wanted her to be kickass and competent, and I also thought it would be cool if she physically resembled Sam, because so far in the series, all the actors they've chosen (JDM and Gil) really have more of Dean than Sam, facially.
