So I found a book meme somewhere yesterday, and thought I'd do it, then I had a better idea. So here's a new version, focused on fanfic instead of books (though if you want to snaffle it and do books instead, knock yourself out)

1. Best use of literature/quotes in a fic
I've read loads of fanfics that have used poems and books and introduced me to new works, but I think my favourite use of a literary reference in a story is probably Odysseus, American by coyotesuspect. i love it when Dean reads, and proves he's a lot more intelligent than he makes out, and I especially loved this one because I have a fondness for Greek myths, I studied Homer briefly at University, and as a bonus, Dean has Peter O'Toole reading to him on audio cassette. i don't know, it's just a wonderful combination.
