I cheated on the background (too lazy and this was a distraction from all the things I'm supposed to be doing...) so it's a print of the imaginary Piraneze Prison by Giovanni Batista.

I used references - I am not masterful enough to draw poses without. One day I will get over my laziness and practice with my lovely anatomical drawing book! That background was just crying out for chained up Winchesters... :D

It works really well as is, I love it when people use just a dash of colour for an otherwise sepia/black and white piece, really makes it stand out :)
