The Wall

E/O Drabble Challenge: word count 100

Challenge word: Square

Warnings: Spoilers if you haven’t seen Season 6.  Sam is dreaming about Death’s Wall.

Tentative, he stretches out a hand and touches.

The surface is smooth, seamless; slick underneath his fingers.  Looking up, it stretches far into the dark sky, as far as he can see. Looking to his right, though, he thinks he sees an ending; so he walks, trailing finger-tips along the wall as he goes, as if loosing contact will somehow undo him.

 

Hours later he’s back where he started, though how he knows isn’t clear.  He’s come four-square around, and there is no way in, no way out.

 

His past is contained in this strange box.

 

Pandora, he thinks. 

 

Shivers.

OH...I got chills at the end. Great dribble. I have always wondered about the “wall” when they talk about it on the show. It is good to assume it is like Pandora’s Box. Greatness!

And of course, great picture. The background and the building look amazing!
