I love the backgrounds! Where did you find those?

As for wolfpup2000 pics, they are, as usually, gorgeous and of top quality. I had, however, a very hard time looking at Jensen's pics from her batch. Th quality is so good that you can actually see how sick the poor guy was.

True - but he was a real trooper and seemed to enjoy himself in spite of the flu thing - must be Dean rubbing off on him...
The backgrounds were just me experimenting with gimp - in Filters, render, clouds, plasma - and it came up with a lovely rainbow background. I was really looking for 'gaussian noise' effect as someone told me that was how you make photos look slightly grainy, but I don't think I have that one.

Try adding grain. In the right percentage, it gets pretty close to the same effect.

I don't use Gimp, but I'm guessing filters is the best bet. At least in photoshop, thats where they are.

I'll have another look - there was a filter that added a newsprint look but that wasn't what I wanted. Still experimenting is interesting!

Aha! Noise was the clue - I've found something that is kind of what I was looking for! Not sure how I could use it, but there it is - thank you!!
